I am Todd Sudeck, Founder and President of The Ding King Training Institute, a role I’ve passionately have held for the past 30 years. Throughout this extensive journey, I have been dedicated to empowering numerous entrepreneurs, guiding them in the establishment of flourishing paintless dent repair and car care businesses.

I have a supportive and loving wife who works along side me at The Ding King, along with my three boys whom also work at the company and are helping me continue our commitment to our helping our students become even more successful. Additionally, I’m supported by my Ding King Family who are equally passionate and committed to our goal of helping our students achieve the independence and success associated with owing their own business.
Multifaceted Experience in Retail Auto Appearance and Dealership Account Management
My multifaceted experience spans the opening of a chain of retail Auto Appearance Shops. In this capacity, I undertook diverse responsibilities, from the strategic training of our skilled staff to spearheading initiatives that resulted in the successful opening of used car dealership accounts for in excess of 275 employee/technicians. This hands-on involvement provided me with invaluable insights into the intricacies of this specialized industry.
Certification
Central to my mission has been the provision of hands-on training and certification services. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring aspiring business owners, offering them a comprehensive platform for success. This involves not only imparting technical skills but also instilling a business mindset that enables them to navigate the complexities of opening a new business by teaching business and marketing classes specific to their business goals and objectives.

MEET THE KING
After getting a dent in my car and taking it to the body shop for a quote, I figured I’d give it a try myself, as the thought of painting my brand new car made me ill. I took my Snap On screwdriver and wrapped the tip with lots of duct tape and tried to pop the dent out, all with no luck. My neighbor was watching me and told me about a PDR tech that he used. I called him up and watched a trained professional take the dent out in less than 10 minutes, saving me a few hundred dollars. All I can remember thinking was “that didn’t look so hard” and “I could make a lot of money doing that.”
The next morning I researched where I could learn PDR and after spending 5 days in a PDR class. I came home and practiced for a month before opening my doors. Then I set out to a local car wash who washed approximately 350 cars a day. I let the owner of the car wash know what I do and if I could greet his customers on the service lane and offer free estimates for PDR. He agreed and I gave him 25% of my gross revenue and my business was born!
