There are specifics that you the student must take responsibility for in order to take advantage of the job placement assistance, they are as follows:
1. You must first have a meeting with the placement services representative, dressed professionally as if you were going to an interview and provide a professional resume with proper formatting. In addition, you must complete and submit the Employment Questionnaire.
2. You must communicate with your placement representative weekly. If you are unable to keep your weekly appointment or if you are unable to keep an appointment set up on your behalf with a potential employer, then you must contact your representative or the potential employer and let either or both of them know you will not be able to make it.
3. Be certain to report to your placement representative after your interview and especially if you have been given an offer for employment.
4. Finally, you will be required to prove that you are in fact able to work in the US. You will need to provide your letter from INS with your official A number or a valid work permit. In addition, if there are any changes to your mailing address, phone number, name change, or any changes to your employment they must be reported immediately.
